Business Excellence Lead – Damascus, Syria

About the role

The Business Excellence Lead will drive enterprise‑wide business excellence and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation. This role focuses on converting traditional operating models into fully digitised, automated, data‑driven processes that boost efficiency, governance and performance visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide digital transformation projects aligned with strategic objectives.
• Translate business goals into roadmaps prioritising efficiency, scalability and value creation.
• Drive the shift from manual, fragmented processes to integrated, automated operations.
• Manage large‑scale Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives.
• Promote a digital‑by‑design mindset for new processes and systems.
• Oversee end‑to‑end process discovery, redesign and digitisation across departments.
• Implement workflow automation using BPMS, RPA and low‑code/no‑code platforms.
• Establish enterprise process standards, governance frameworks and best practices.
• Define digitally enabled KPIs, SLAs and OLAs within automated workflows.
• Develop real‑time dashboards and performance reporting frameworks.
• Monitor and continuously optimise process performance.
• Support data‑driven decision making through analytics and reporting.
• Lead change‑management initiatives to foster digital adoption.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and provide guidance to departments adopting new digital processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in Business Excellence, Digital Transformation or Process Automation.
• Proven leadership of large‑scale digital transformation and automation programmes.
• Experience in telecom, infrastructure, utilities, real estate or large enterprise environments is preferred.
