MEP Technical Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Technical Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering activities across multiple construction projects. The role ensures design quality, code compliance, and seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP technical activities across multiple projects.
• Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Coordinate MEP work with civil and architectural disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to project execution teams.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, site conflicts, and technical issues.
• Participate in value engineering and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Support tendering and estimation teams with technical expertise.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality control processes and installation standards.
• Attend client meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Results‑driven, detail‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving abilities.
