Draftsman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to produce accurate architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings that support project delivery from concept through construction. The role involves close collaboration with design teams, contractors and clients to ensure designs are functional, cost‑effective and compliant with all relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver drawings and designs within project timelines.
• Address design challenges and propose manufacturable solutions.
• Consider cost implications when selecting materials and components.
• Create architectural floor plans, elevations and detailed component drawings.
• Produce as‑built drawings and maintain organized documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors to verify construction aligns with technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards and regulations.
• Prepare and manage shop drawings, material submittals and technical close‑outs.
• Oversee onsite material testing and report weekly progress.
• Present design concepts and technical drawings to project teams or clients.
• Support HSE initiatives and participate in safety activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years overall experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant drafting role.
• Experience in GCC projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
