OSP Project Manager

About the role

The OSP Project Manager will lead the delivery of outside‑plant (OSP) projects in Syria, coordinating vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project activities, ensuring progress aligns with the approved schedule.
• Set monthly targets with the Senior Project Manager and drive teams to achieve them.
• Prepare and maintain management plans covering communication, escalation, implementation timelines and hand‑over procedures.
• Define and verify the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project timelines in collaboration with senior management.
• Develop implementation plans and procedures with relevant STC departments and contractors.
• Identify gaps, track issues, propose corrective actions and escalate blocking problems promptly.
• Chair vendor/contractor meetings and participate in coordination sessions.
• Monitor, mitigate and report project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Review change requests and ensure compliance with the Change Management Process.
• Compile, document and hand over final deliverables to the client in the required format.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering is a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of telecommunications experience, including at least 4 years in OSP management.
• PMP certification or formal training in PMI/PRINCE methodologies is advantageous.
• Extensive experience in design and execution of civil works and electromechanical installations.
• Strong project reporting and coordination background.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
