Outreach Awareness Worker

About the role

The Outreach Awareness Worker will provide case management and psychosocial support to survivors of gender‑based violence and children at risk of abuse, neglect, or violence in North‑West Syria. The role follows a survivor‑centered approach, ensuring confidentiality, non‑discrimination, and respect for human rights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and develop safety and care plans for survivors.
• Deliver individual and group psychosocial support sessions.
• Coordinate referrals and follow‑up with relevant services.
• Maintain accurate case files and reporting in line with protection principles.
• Collaborate with the centre’s psychosocial supporter to ensure integrated service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in case management or protection work with vulnerable populations.
• Understanding of gender‑based violence and child protection standards.
• Commitment to confidentiality, non‑discrimination, and survivor‑centered practice.
• Ability to work in a humanitarian context under challenging conditions.
