Senior IT Specialist

About the role

Maher Khoder Embroideries, a global leader in high‑fashion embroidery and luxury fabrics, is looking for a proactive Senior IT Specialist to drive its digital transformation in Aleppo. The role will be responsible for building, managing and upgrading the company’s technical infrastructure, ensuring continuity, efficiency and security of all IT operations, and leading the migration and optimization of the Odoo ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Design, set up and maintain internal networks, physical and cloud servers, workstations and communication systems.
• Lead the full migration, deployment and ongoing maintenance of the Odoo ERP across all departments.
• Manage relationships with ISPs, software vendors and hardware suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues to guarantee business continuity.
• Enforce information‑security policies, control user permissions, manage corporate email and protect internal databases.
• Implement and oversee routine backup strategies and data‑protection measures.
• Prepare periodic reports on system performance, incidents and recommended infrastructure upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a senior IT or technical support role.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and manage shifting technical priorities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on administration of Odoo ERP.
• Network administration and troubleshooting.
• Server configuration and management (physical and cloud).
• Operating system expertise (Windows/Linux).
• Information security and cybersecurity standards.
• Backup architectures and data‑protection solutions.
