After Sales Service Engineer – Technical Support for Inverters & Batteries

About the role

We are looking for an After Sales Service Engineer to provide on‑site technical support for inverter and lithium‑battery systems. The role bridges our engineering team and customers, ensuring reliable operation and building long‑term trust.

Key responsibilities

• Guide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades of inverter and lithium‑battery systems on‑site.
• Explain fault causes to customers, offer preventive advice and alleviate concerns during equipment failures.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality and customer‑service teams to report issues, deliver remote guidance and close the service loop.
• Prepare fault reports, service records and product improvement suggestions; contribute to FAQ and fault‑handling manuals for overseas markets.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, provide safety training to customers and manage spare‑parts inventory and emergency allocations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in after‑sales service, on‑site commissioning or technical support for inverters, UPS, lithium batteries, PV systems or related electrical equipment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, for technical reporting.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and safety‑focused work habits.

Required skills

• Understanding of inverter operating principles (single‑phase, three‑phase, off‑grid, grid‑connected, hybrid) and lithium‑battery BMS logic.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation‑resistance testers and thermal imagers for fault location.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and troubleshoot control‑cabinet faults.
• Knowledge of CAN, RS485 and Modbus communication protocols and integration with SCADA/remote monitoring systems.
