BESS Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled BESS Electrical Engineer to join our technical team and support the delivery of commercial and industrial battery energy storage projects. The role involves hands‑on work on‑site, collaborating with engineering, project, and commissioning teams to ensure successful installation and operation of storage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and troubleshoot Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on commercial and industrial sites.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS), including communication issues.
• Perform electrical testing, protection system checks, and LV/MV system verification.
• Collaborate with project engineers and technical staff to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with BESS or other energy storage systems.
• Hands‑on experience in installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of storage projects.
• Strong technical communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively on‑site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
