Daily Worker – Albab (Dir Hafir)

About the role

The Daily Worker will support IYD’s Early Recovery and Livelihoods Programme in Albab (Dir Hafir), Syria. The role involves registering beneficiaries, verifying field data, distributing agricultural inputs and supervising infrastructure rehabilitation carried out by contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct beneficiary registration on paper or using Kobo registration software.
• Perform field verification visits to beneficiaries’ homes or agricultural lands.
• Implement and monitor agricultural input distribution activities.
• Supervise daily infrastructure rehabilitation work performed by contractors.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and security requirements for workers and beneficiaries.
• Submit regular reports to the project manager.
• Carry out any other tasks related to the Early Recovery and Livelihoods Programme as required.

Required profile

• Experience or familiarity with beneficiary registration and field verification in humanitarian contexts.
• Ability to supervise contractors and monitor infrastructure works.
• Understanding of safety and security standards in field operations.
• Good reporting skills and ability to work under the direction of a project manager.
• Commitment to anti‑harassment, PSEA and child safeguarding policies.
