Electrical Site Engineer

About the role

NOVA Contracting is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our project team in Daraa, Syria. The role involves overseeing electrical installations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• LV power distribution & lighting – design, installation and testing of low‑voltage power and lighting systems.
• ELV/low current systems – fire alarm, CCTV, data and access control installation and commissioning.
• Cable trays, conduits and cable containment – planning, routing and supervision of cable management.
• Site execution and coordination – daily on‑site supervision, clash resolution and progress monitoring.
• Shop drawings, as‑built drawings and quantity take‑offs – preparation and verification of detailed documentation.
• Good command of AutoCAD – creation and review of electrical layout drawings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in MEP contracting and building projects.
• Strong site execution and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of MEP drawings and overall coordination.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and other trades.
• Practical problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently.
