Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

NOVA Contracting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to join its project team in Daraa, Syria. The role focuses on overseeing mechanical installations and ensuring seamless coordination on construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, and supervise HVAC systems including VRF/VRV, chilled water, ventilation and ductwork.
• Manage plumbing, domestic water, drainage, rainwater, and firefighting system installations.
• Oversee pumps, piping, valves and other mechanical equipment on site.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, as‑built drawings and quantity take‑offs.
• Coordinate daily site execution activities and liaise with consultants, subcontractors and other trades.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in MEP contracting and building projects.
• Strong site execution and coordination abilities.
• Good understanding of MEP drawings and overall project coordination.
• Proven ability to work independently and solve practical problems.

Required skills

• AutoCAD proficiency.
• HVAC systems (VRF/VRV, chilled water, ventilation and ductwork).
• Plumbing and domestic water systems.
• Drainage and rainwater management.
• Firefighting system installation.
• Pumps, piping, valves and mechanical equipment handling.
