Enterprise Support Officer – TVET (Daily Paid, Grade 14)

About the role

UNRWA is seeking an Enterprise Support Officer for its TVET programmes in Syria. The incumbent will develop and deliver entrepreneurship support activities for Palestine refugees, reporting to the Principal of TVET.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business entrepreneurship support activities in line with project objectives and work plans.
• Design and update entrepreneurship training materials and curricula based on labour market needs and beneficiary profiles.
• Conduct market and business opportunity assessments to identify viable income‑generating activities.
• Deliver training on supplier linkages, costing, marketing, financial literacy and customer relations.
• Provide individual and group coaching, mentoring and technical guidance to entrepreneurs.
• Promote innovative initiatives such as digitalisation, green enterprises and sustainable business models.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, Finance, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in business development, entrepreneurship support, TVET projects or SME development.

What we offer

• Daily rate of 35.97 USD.
• One day of annual leave and one day of sick leave for each completed month of service.
