Food & Beverage Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Director of Operations to lead and optimise the daily performance of our restaurant chain across Syria. The role demands a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and a proven track record in multi‑site F&B management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
• Monitor and improve performance through KPIs, metrics, and reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and operational teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and support strategic growth projects.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements.
• Resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement programs.

Required profile

• Syrian nationality is mandatory.
• 8–10 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably with restaurant chains or hospitality groups.
• Proven experience in a senior operations role such as Operations Director, Regional Operations Manager, or Area Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple restaurant outlets.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, inventory control, food safety, and operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
