Grants and Partnership Officer

About the role

You will coordinate and oversee grants management, donor compliance, resource mobilization, and partnership engagement for Médecins du Monde in Syria, while also handling mission communication and representing the mission in relevant forums.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate concept notes and proposals, ensuring coherence between narrative, logframe and budget.
• Track all active grants, manage deadlines, and produce donor and internal reports.
• Maintain donor mapping, train teams on donor rules, and support audits and evaluations.
• Develop MoUs and partnership agreements, coordinate due diligence and manage collaborations.
• Create communication products, contribute to visibility strategy, and manage social media according to guidelines.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Development, International Relations, Humanitarian Management or related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role with strong donor compliance knowledge (ECHO, FCDO, UN).
• Fluent English; Arabic highly appreciated.
• Previous experience with Médecins du Monde is a strong asset.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract for 3 months, gross monthly salary of 3 069 €.
• Expatriation allowance (10% of gross salary), 13th‑month salary after 6 months.
