About the role

The Independent Doctors Association is seeking a dedicated ICU Technician to provide technical care in the Pediatric or Adult Intensive Care Unit. The role involves supporting the medical team, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical care to patients in PICU/ICU and monitor vital signs.
• Operate and monitor patient monitoring systems and other ICU medical devices.
• Prepare and manage respiratory support equipment according to medical instructions.
• Assist physicians and nurses during diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and ensure availability of supplies.
• Apply infection prevention, sterilization procedures, and use PPE as required.
• Document patient observations and equipment usage accurately.
• Communicate continuously with the healthcare team to ensure quality of care.

Required profile

• Health‑technical qualification or equivalent education suitable for ICU work.
• Previous experience in a Pediatric or Adult Intensive Care Unit.
• Good knowledge of basic ICU care principles.
