Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

The Information Technology Support Engineer is responsible for delivering reliable IT network and data‑center services to internal and external users. The role combines hands‑on technical support, service‑level monitoring, and governance to ensure continuous operation of voice, data, and computing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT service delivery, monitor and enforce SLA commitments.
• Lead the service desk and application support teams, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network incidents; resolve tickets promptly.
• Prepare, image, and deploy computer systems, applying OS patches, service packs and anti‑virus updates.
• Configure network accounts, support Windows applications, and maintain access‑point devices.
• Implement and maintain security systems across all locations, coordinating with other engineers.
• Drive IT governance, develop policies, and promote Green ICT initiatives.
• Provide off‑hours support for security incidents and collaborate with HR for employee IT training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, service‑desk management, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and governance frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize incidents, and communicate technical information clearly.
