Logistics Officer (M/F) – Syria Technical Assistance Hub

About the role

The Logistics Officer will support the Team Europe Initiative Technical Assistance Hub in Syria by ensuring efficient logistics and office operations. Working within the Project Management Unit and in collaboration with Expertise France and GIZ support services, the officer will facilitate the smooth delivery of project activities that reinforce Syrian government institutional capacities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes and coordinate the acquisition of goods and services required for project implementation.
• Oversee inventory management, storage, and distribution of supplies, ensuring compliance with donor and local regulations.
• Coordinate office operations, including facility management, transport arrangements, and liaison with local partners.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and reporting to support project monitoring and evaluation.
• Provide logistical support to project teams, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain management, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Familiarity with donor‑funded procurement procedures and ability to work in a multi‑cultural environment.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
