Program Director (Humanitarian Programs)

About the role

Blumont is seeking a Program Director to lead the implementation of a multi‑component humanitarian program focused on protection, community mobilization, social cohesion, case management, and infrastructure development. The role is locally based with frequent travel to project sites and requires close collaboration with country and HQ teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of project workplans, quarterly and annual reports, M&E plans, learning products, and donor documentation.
• Design and strengthen systems that ensure high‑quality programming while meeting operational, technical, safeguarding, and monitoring standards.
• Provide oversight and support to field teams across all program components, ensuring compliance with Blumont policies, donor rules, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with the Country Director, technical teams, and the Program Quality and Learning (PQL) team to track progress, identify challenges, and adjust implementation as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, donors, partners, authorities, and community structures, facilitating timely communication across all functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex humanitarian programs that include protection, community mobilization, and infrastructure components.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and coordinate with HQ and donor partners.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, security, and compliance requirements in humanitarian settings.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project locations.
