Quality Assurance Associate – TVET (Daily Paid)

About the role

UNRWA is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate for its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes in the Damascus area. The position is a daily‑paid opportunity at Grade 12 level, reporting to the Acting Chief of TVET.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate institute performance against the Institute Quality Review Framework, covering teaching quality, learning environment, resource management and inclusive practices.
• Collect, record and analyse data on institute performance and produce regular quality‑assurance reports.
• Track implementation of improvement actions identified in institute reviews and develop action plans with the unit team.
• Assist in developing a comprehensive Institute Quality Review Framework for the field.
• Support dissemination of good practices across the field and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare quality‑assurance reviews with supporting evidence and generate regular updates.
• Contribute to professional development activities and stay updated on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12.
• Strong analytical abilities to collect and interpret performance data.
• Ability to produce clear, objective reports and recommendations.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Commitment to UN core values of integrity, professionalism and respect for diversity.
