Sales Representative – FMCG Distribution (Tartus)

About the role

The Sales Representative will be based in Tartus and will drive the growth of Rootsina FMCG’s product portfolio across retailers, wholesalers, supermarkets and food‑service outlets. Working on‑site, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring product availability, visibility and timely order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing and prospective customers in the assigned territory to present product ranges and secure orders.
• Monitor stock levels at points of sale and coordinate with warehousing and delivery teams to guarantee timely replenishment.
• Follow up on invoicing, payments and resolve any commercial issues.
• Collect market feedback, track competitor activity and report sales performance to the regional team.
• Contribute to the development of local sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Knowledge of the FMCG or food‑and‑beverage market in Syria, preferably.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to plan routes and manage multiple accounts.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tartus and spend significant time in the field.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using sales reporting tools.
• Comfort with data entry and simple data analysis.
