Senior Reservoir Engineer – Upstream Technical Due Diligence

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Upstream Petroleum/Reservoir Engineer to lead technical due‑diligence for lenders on oil and gas projects. The role involves evaluating development plans, reserves, production forecasts and associated technical risks.

Key responsibilities

• Review petroleum engineering and reservoir studies, development plans and production forecasts.
• Assess drilling and completion programmes, production facilities, pipelines and export systems.
• Identify and evaluate technical, operational, HSE and ESG risks.
• Contribute to lender technical reviews, interim findings and the final Technical Due Diligence Report.
• Support lender meetings, progress calls and respond to technical information requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in upstream oil & gas projects as a lender’s technical advisor, independent engineer, competent person or owner’s engineer.
• Strong background in petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering, drilling, completions, production facilities or pipelines.
• Experience advising lenders on reserve‑based financings or field redevelopment projects.
• Knowledge of HSE and ESG requirements in the oil & gas sector.
• Fluent Arabic.
