Technical Support Engineer – Solar Inverters

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance for our solar string inverter products in Syria. The role combines remote troubleshooting, on‑site service, and customer training to ensure reliable operation of solar energy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with solar string inverters both remotely and on‑site.
• Provide timely support via phone, email, and field visits.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and routine maintenance of inverter installations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Development to improve product performance.
• Document all service activities, solutions, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Train customers, distributors, and internal teams on operation and maintenance.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to service procedures and technical bulletins.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or field service engineering for solar inverters.
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix power‑electronics issues in renewable‑energy systems.
• Hands‑on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of solar PV installations.
• Familiarity with Syria’s electrical grid standards, regulations and the regional renewable market.
• Excellent communication skills and professional English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel extensively for on‑site support.
