Technical Support Engineer – Solar Inverters

About the role

SolaX Power is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance for solar string inverter systems in Syria. You will work closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure reliable operation of our renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot solar inverter issues remotely and on‑site.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, and field visits.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and routine maintenance of inverter installations.
• Document all service activities and solutions in the CRM system.
• Train customers, distributors, and internal staff on inverter operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Development to improve product reliability.
• Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to service procedures and technical bulletins.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical support or field service experience with solar inverters.
• Proven ability to resolve power‑electronics and renewable‑energy system issues.
• Hands‑on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of solar PV systems.
• Familiarity with Syria’s electrical grid standards and renewable‑energy market.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively for on‑site support (up to 70% travel).
