TVET Instructor – IT (Daily Paid, Lattakia)

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) seeks a TVET Instructor specialized in Information Technology to deliver school‑based and work‑based learning programmes in the Lattakia area. This is a daily‑paid assignment for up to three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and development of IT learning programmes, including curriculum drafting and integration of emerging technologies.
• Facilitate classroom, laboratory and workplace training, ensuring inclusive delivery for trainees with disabilities and incorporating Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) principles.
• Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, develop assessment tools, and evaluate trainee performance.
• Build linkages with employers and collect labour market information to align training with market needs.
• Apply UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework and contribute to greening and digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree (four‑year) in Information Technology or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic at UN Level II (reading, writing, listening, speaking).

What we offer

• Daily rate of 29.17 USD (Grade 11).
• 1 day of annual leave and 1 day of sick leave for each completed month of service.
• Contract up to three months with possible extension, subject to funding and performance.
