Center Coordinator – TVET (Daily Paid) – Deraa

About the role

The Center Coordinator will manage the daily operations of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centre in Deraa. Reporting to the Chief of TVET, the incumbent ensures that training activities are planned, delivered and evaluated in line with UNRWA policies and the needs of Palestine refugees.

Key responsibilities

• Design, organise and implement TVET activities based on needs assessments and market research, including advertising, outreach, registration and monitoring.
• Handle administrative duties such as logistical arrangements, budget support, invoice processing, filing, archiving and maintaining staff attendance records.
• Coordinate and support centre staff, including instructors and facility attendants, and provide assistance to trainees as required.
• Ensure the safety and proper maintenance of classrooms, workshops and equipment.
• Prepare and submit regular monthly reports to the Principal TVET Programme and relevant field staff.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• A university degree in Business Administration or a related field (equivalency accepted).
• Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and rigor in follow‑up.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to humanitarian and development work, with motivation to serve Palestine refugees.
• Respect for UNRWA rules, regulations and priorities.
• Good relations with the local community and high integrity.
