DevOps Engineer

About the role

Conexe is seeking a full‑time DevOps Engineer to join its Damascus office. In this role you will design, build and maintain the infrastructure that powers the company’s web, mobile and data‑driven applications, ensuring high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Linux‑based servers and cloud environments.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines for automated provisioning.
• Develop, configure and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support rapid software delivery.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production incidents and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate tooling, scripts and deployment processes.
• Apply security hardening, patch management and configuration management best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in system administration and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code and Continuous Integration concepts.
• Proven ability to write shell scripts and automate routine tasks.
• Solid software development knowledge to contribute to tooling and integration.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
