LGS Engineer

About the role

The LGS Engineer will join Imdad Group in Abu Dhabi to lead the design, installation and management of Light Gauge Steel (LGS) structures across multiple projects. This full‑time, on‑site position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design and detail LGS structural systems using AutoCAD and structural analysis tools.
• Oversee installation and on‑site assembly of LGS components.
• Conduct regular site inspections and produce technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and propose technical solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to align project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with LGS design and construction projects.
• Strong project management and site supervision abilities.
• Familiarity with industry safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work on‑site and adapt to dynamic project requirements.

Required skills
