Non-Technical Survey and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education Team Leader

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Non-Technical Survey (NTS) and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) team. The Team Leader will ensure safe, effective, and high‑quality implementation of all NTS and EORE activities within the assigned operational area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise the NTS/EORE team, ensuring clear task allocation and performance monitoring.
• Develop weekly and monthly work plans in coordination with the Technical Field Manager and Operations Manager.
• Oversee field data collection, validation and community liaison activities.
• Prepare and submit reports that comply with national and international standards such as IMAS and NMAS.
• Coordinate with other DRC programmes to integrate survey and risk‑education outputs into broader humanitarian interventions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing NTS and/or EORE activities in humanitarian contexts.
• Strong knowledge of IMAS and NMAS standards for survey and risk education.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and work closely with field managers.
• Excellent communication skills for community engagement and stakeholder reporting.
