Project Executive

About the role

The Project Executive provides day‑to‑day operational support to the Implementation Manager for the Syria programme. Working closely with field teams, the role ensures data collection, reporting and beneficiary records are accurate, timely and aligned with EU FPI requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise field‑level data collection and ensure correct entry into systems such as Kobo and case‑management records.
• Manage project deliverables and reporting timelines, drafting internal and external reports for EU FPI submissions.
• Maintain a centralised, up‑to‑date database of beneficiaries and activities.
• Organise and support project meetings, prepare minutes and track action points.
• Assist field‑level finance administration, monitoring budgets and resource utilisation.
• Prepare presentation and visibility materials for internal and external stakeholders, including the Joint Steering Committee.
• Set up and maintain project filing systems in line with IN2 governance standards.
• Provide ad‑hoc administrative and coordination support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, International Development or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, administration or a similar operational role, preferably within an NGO or international development setting.
• Fluent Arabic; working‑level English is desirable.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with the Kobo data‑collection platform.
