Senior Programs Development Officer (Damascus)

About the role

The Senior Programs Development Officer will support Syrian Forum in building and managing strategic partnerships focused on early recovery and economic empowerment. Working closely with technical teams, the officer will help design high‑quality project proposals and ensure they align with donor priorities and the evolving needs of recovery in Syria.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships aligned with early recovery and economic empowerment objectives.
• Draft high‑quality project proposals, concept notes and partnership strategies in collaboration with technical teams.
• Ensure proposals meet donor priorities and evolving recovery needs in Syria.
• Expand and strengthen the organization’s partnership network with institutional donors and key stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in coordination platforms, clusters and external events to promote sustainable recovery and livelihoods programming.

Required profile

• Significant experience in program development and partnership management, preferably in humanitarian or post‑conflict settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of early recovery and economic empowerment programmes.
• Proven ability to work with institutional donors and strategic stakeholders.
• Strong communication and representation skills for external coordination.
