Social Behavior Change Educator (SBC)

About the role

MedGlobal is seeking a Social Behavior Change (SBC) Educator to lead health‑promotion campaigns in Al‑Dana, Idleb. The role involves direct community engagement, raising awareness on key health topics, and linking beneficiaries with services offered at the primary health centre.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ongoing awareness campaigns at the health centre and in public venues such as schools and community gathering places.
• Act as the primary liaison between community members and the centre’s health services.
• Conduct sensitivity assessments, identify cases that meet predefined criteria, and tailor behavior‑change messages to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate case files while respecting privacy protocols.
• Make internal and external referrals, complete feedback and referral forms, and ensure timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• Experience working in community health, public health education, or similar outreach roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of health‑behavior change principles and case‑management processes.
• Ability to work independently in a challenging field environment.
