SQL Database & Integration Developer

About the role

Paymera, a fast‑growing fintech focused on digital payment solutions, is looking for an experienced SQL Database & Integration Developer. You will design, develop and maintain the core Microsoft SQL Server databases that power our payment platforms, automate reporting, and ensure seamless data flow between internal systems and third‑party services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions and triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries, implement indexing strategies and monitor database health to ensure high performance.
• Create and maintain operational and management reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including dashboards and scheduled exports.
• Develop ETL packages with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to integrate data across internal applications and external partners.
• Manage backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery planning, and enforce security and access controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration job failures, and continuously improve ETL reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and administration within a fintech or similar high‑transaction environment.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing and query optimization.
• Hands‑on experience building reports with SSRS and ETL processes with SSIS.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain data integrity under tight deadlines.
