Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a capable Systems Administrator to own and maintain the infrastructure supporting a growing 60‑person office. You will ensure servers, network, and storage operate reliably and be the first responder when issues arise.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers and virtualization platforms (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper‑V), handling provisioning, patching, snapshots and resource allocation.
• Manage the office network end‑to‑end, including switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and Wi‑Fi, and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
• Oversee storage and NAS solutions, monitor RAID health, manage shares, permissions and capacity planning, and run reliable backups with regular restore testing.
• Administer Windows systems and user accounts via Active Directory, handling account creation, resets and access issues.
• Implement monitoring (Sentry, Grafana) and security best practices such as patch management, least‑privilege access and SSL hardening.

Required profile

• Self‑directed professional with solid Linux, networking and virtualization fundamentals.
• Comfortable working from the command line and responding to occasional after‑hours incidents.
• Trustworthy with deep access to company systems and able to learn the specific stack quickly.
