Unity Developer

About the role

Tajweedi is looking for a full‑time remote Unity Developer to create interactive mobile experiences that visualize Arabic letter articulations. You will work with designers, linguists, and artists to build engaging educational games and AR features that help learners understand Tajweed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise Unity‑based features for iOS and Android.
• Develop and refine game levels, integrating art, audio, and UI assets.
• Collaborate with linguists to ensure accurate visual representation of Arabic phonetics.
• Implement AR components where applicable.
• Write clean, maintainable C# code following object‑oriented principles.
• Debug, profile, and improve performance; participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in programming and OOP concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Unity game development.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team.
• Interest in language learning, Arabic, or educational technology (a plus).
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
