Asset Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Telecom Asset Management Subject Matter Expert to lead the definition, governance, and quality of our telecom network and site asset data. The specialist will ensure that asset information is accurate, standardized, and audit‑ready, supporting operational efficiency and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce asset management standards, including naming conventions, tagging, mandatory attributes, and evidence requirements.
• Provide technical guidance for identification and classification of telecom and datacenter equipment such as chassis, shelves, cards, optics, power systems, and racks.
• Lead quality assurance activities for asset surveys, including sampling reviews, discrepancy analysis, and corrective‑action tracking.
• Coordinate with field survey teams, engineering, inventory specialists, vendors, procurement, and finance to align asset records.
• Maintain reconciliation logic between physical surveys, CMDB, ERP registers, purchase records, and operational systems.
• Support lifecycle governance processes: creation, movement, assignment, transfer, decommissioning, retirement, and disposal.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, exception reports, data‑quality dashboards, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist audit activities and ensure compliance with asset governance standards and site regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in telecom asset management, network audit, physical inventory, CMDB administration, ITAM or infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to drive data‑quality initiatives and manage complex asset ecosystems.
