About the role
The Construction Machinery Sales Engineer promotes, demonstrates and sells heavy equipment to contractors, government bodies and industrial clients in Syria. The role blends technical expertise with sales and relationship‑building to match customer needs with the right machinery solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in construction, infrastructure, mining and industrial sectors.
- Visit client sites, understand project requirements and propose suitable machinery.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, commercial offers and equipment demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and procurement teams.
- Provide technical support, recommend correct machine models and coordinate after‑sales services.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings and prepare sales forecasts and activity reports.
- Follow up on delivery, commissioning, warranty claims and maintenance schedules.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience selling heavy equipment or construction machinery.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, engines and equipment performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
