Clinics Coordinator

About the role

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) is recruiting a Clinics Coordinator based at its Damascus headquarters, within the Health Facilities Unit. Reporting to the Health Facilities Unit Manager, the coordinator is the focal point for SARC clinics and works to deliver high-quality medical services in SARC emergency health posts while ensuring continuity of work in line with SARC policies and standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of SARC clinics
• Develop implementation guidelines, mechanisms, reporting and exit strategies with clinic staff
• Follow up with branch health coordinators on the implementation of clinic SOPs
• Review monthly and quarterly needs with the finance department and manage the annual budget and spending
• Identify training and workshop needs and conduct field monitoring visits to assess needs, challenges and performance
• Follow up medicine and medical equipment delivery with the medical logistics and biomedical engineering teams
• Analyse HIS data with the HIS coordinator and submit regular reports and statistics
• Work with partners supporting clinics to agree action plans and take part in staff recruitment interviews

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy
• 2-3 years of experience in humanitarian work
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English, able to produce reports in both languages
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; able to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment
