BIM Designer

About the role

The BIM Designer will create and maintain accurate, coordinated Building Information Models for data centre and technical building projects. Working on‑site in Damascus, you will ensure that design intent is translated into clash‑free, construction‑ready models that support procurement, fabrication, and facilities management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, and ELV/ICT disciplines using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
• Coordinate federated models, resolve clashes, and produce LOD 300‑400 deliverables in line with the BIM Execution Plan and TIA‑942 / EN 50600 standards.
• Maintain the Common Data Environment on Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, handling uploads, transmittals, and revision control.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and material scheduling directly from the model to aid procurement and cost planning.
• Generate clash detection reports, model progress updates, and BIM compliance status for the Project and Design Managers.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, design reviews, and model walk‑throughs with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM modelling experience on complex infrastructure or mission‑critical projects.
• Proficiency in Arabic and working‑level English.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (MEP, Architecture, Structure).
• Navisworks Manage.
• AutoCAD.
• Dynamo for BIM automation (advantage).
• Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
