Contracts Specialist

About the role

Supports end‑to‑end contracting for goods and services required by ADES Production operations in Syria, ensuring clear obligations, cost control and audit‑ready records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full contract lifecycle from scope validation, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award, amendment, renewal to close‑out.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance and QHSSE to align scopes, pricing, service levels and risk allocation.
• Prepare tender documents, commercial comparisons, award recommendations and maintain contract files and approval records.
• Track contract milestones, expiry dates, obligations, insurance, performance securities, payment terms and approved variations.
• Monitor contractor performance, support claims, change requests, disputes and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate contract registers, audit trails and ensure compliance with ADES policies and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in contracts, procurement, commercial or sourcing roles, preferably in oil & gas, energy or heavy industry.
• Hands‑on experience in tendering, bid evaluation, contract administration and supplier performance management.
• Strong understanding of contractual terms, commercial risk, compliance and service‑level management.
• Fluency in Arabic and English with strong negotiation, documentation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
