ELV / ICT Estimation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

A remote position based in Syria supporting construction projects, for an engineer with practical experience in construction contracting and ELV/ICT systems. The main focus is reviewing drawings, preparing quantity take-offs and BOQs, and supporting estimates for low-current and ICT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specifications and project drawings to identify the required ELV/ICT scope.
• Read and interpret drawings and perform quantity take-offs for equipment, cables and related materials.
• Prepare BOQs, material schedules and quantity breakdowns.
• Work with structured cabling (copper and fibre), active and passive network components, CCTV and video surveillance, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Use AutoCAD to review drawings, make mark-ups and support drawing updates.
• Coordinate with the estimation, engineering and procurement teams to clarify technical requirements and support project pricing.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Practical experience in ELV/ICT or low-current works within construction or contracting projects.
• Ability to read project drawings and prepare accurate quantity take-offs and BOQs.
• Familiarity with ELV/ICT equipment and system components.
• Good attention to detail and ability to coordinate remotely with a project team.
• Experience level is flexible; candidates with moderate hands-on experience who show good drawing-reading, AutoCAD and take-off skills are welcome.
