Field Level Maintenance & Services Lead (OSP)

About the role

Define and govern the field operations model covering outside plant, subsea CLS, and on‑site maintenance, ensuring all procedures, resourcing and tooling are ready for Day‑1 launch, then govern the MSP Field Operations function post‑launch.

Key responsibilities

• Define the field operations model – structure, regional coverage, dispatch model and interfaces with NOC and TAC.
• Design field maintenance procedures for outside plant (fiber, civil, access) and subsea CLS, including marine coordination and terrestrial DWDM infrastructure.
• Establish dispatch procedures, SLA‑driven response times, escalation paths and workforce management tooling specifications.
• Set spare parts management framework, logistics requirements and staffing levels, skills and training frameworks.
• Govern field readiness validation, commissioning, acceptance sign‑off and define KPIs such as MTTR, first‑time fix rate and SLA compliance.
• Post‑launch, monitor MSP field operations performance, approve changes, lead governance reviews and drive continual service improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in telecommunications field operations or outside plant management.
• Proven experience designing field operations models for carrier‑grade infrastructure.
• Knowledge of fiber/DWDM outside plant, CLS operations and subsea cable landing station maintenance.
• Experience with greenfield or build‑to‑operate programs; workforce management platforms and field service tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is an advantage; Syrian nationality preferred.
