Field Project Manager – Food Security & Livelihoods

About the role

The Field Project Manager will supervise the implementation of food security and livelihoods activities, ensuring that distribution, logistics and administrative operations follow approved plans. The role requires close coordination with field teams, protection, monitoring & evaluation units and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor weekly and monthly reports, supervise daily distribution processes and vehicle movements.
• Coordinate with external monitoring officers, protection and M&E departments, and arrange joint field visits.
• Manage petty‑cash expenses, oversee logistics tenders and supervise monthly distribution, logistics and financial reports.
• Conduct regular visits to distribution points, interview candidates, and support recruitment and HR procedures.
• Prepare and submit monthly work plans, track staff attendance, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in internal and external meetings, provide updates and share challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience in humanitarian organisations and in food‑security projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
• Experience managing electronic voucher programmes and using the voucher‑system dashboard.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work remotely when needed and to analyse data and write reports.
