Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead and oversee the entire finance function, ensuring accurate accounting, robust financial planning, and timely reporting to support strategic decision‑making. This senior position requires strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of financial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Maintain the fixed‑assets register and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies in line with IFRS, audit standards, VAT regulations, and risk‑management frameworks.
• Oversee customer billing, payment collection, and vendor dispute resolution.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Produce management reports, MIS dashboards, and cost‑reporting analyses for projects and variation orders.
• Ensure compliance reporting to government authorities.
• Manage, mentor, and evaluate the finance team, fostering morale and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading finance or accounting teams.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Familiarity with audit procedures and VAT regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting and cost analysis.
