About the role
We are looking for a freelance OPI & VRI Medical Interpreter to provide English‑Farsi interpretation for healthcare interactions. This is a full‑time remote position that requires a professional environment for video calls.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver over‑the‑phone (OPI) medical interpretation between English and Farsi.
- Provide video remote (VRI) medical interpretation with high‑quality audio and video.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all interpreted communications.
Required profile
- Native‑level proficiency in Farsi (Persian).
- Strong English communication skills.
- Previous interpretation experience is a plus.
Required skills
- Computer with Intel Core i5 (10th Generation or higher).
- USB headset with noise‑cancelling capability.
- Reliable wired internet connection.
- High‑quality webcam (1080p recommended) and a professional environment suitable for video calls.
