HR Specialist

About the role

This HR Specialist position covers the day-to-day running of HR operations and leads the HR team. The role spans recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, compliance and reporting, working closely with department heads and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily HR operations and lead, coordinate and monitor the performance of the HR team.
• Oversee recruitment and selection, from job postings and CV screening to interviews and hiring.
• Maintain and review employee records, employment contracts and personnel files.
• Monitor attendance, leave, absenteeism and overtime; oversee onboarding, orientation and offboarding.
• Coordinate payroll, employee benefits and compensation with the Finance Department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures and labour laws.
• Support performance management, training and professional development, and handle employee concerns, conflicts and disciplinary matters.
• Prepare HR reports, track HR KPIs and identify improvements to HR processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
• 5 years of HR experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge of labour laws.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination and personnel administration.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication and organisational skills, with integrity and confidentiality.
