Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Majazyo LLC, behind the retail brands Qahoonji and 88 Market, is hiring a full-time, on-site Human Resources Specialist in Damascus. The specialist handles day-to-day HR operations, working closely with managers and team members to keep HR practices consistent across the company's brands.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and support recruitment and onboarding processes
• Assist with performance management activities
• Implement HR policies and coordinate employee benefits and leave
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations
• Respond to employee inquiries and help resolve workplace issues
• Support HR initiatives that promote engagement and a positive work environment

Required profile

• Strong foundation in HR and personnel management, able to support daily HR operations
• Experience in HR management and HR policies, including implementation and compliance with labor laws and company standards
• Knowledge of employee benefits administration, leave management and compensation support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to confidentiality
• Organizational and time-management skills, with accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work on-site in Damascus and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in retail or multi-brand environments is an advantage
• A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
