Junior Accountant

About the role

The Accountant assists the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks and keeping financial records accurate. The role suits a detail-oriented person who wants to develop accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Bookkeeping: review and verify daily transactions, attach supporting documents (invoices, receipts) before data entry, and enter expenses, bank deposits and transfers into the accounting software.
• Organize and file all accounting documents and attachments.
• Review, verify and correct monthly purchases; post transactions between software modules.
• Reconcile monetary accounts such as banks, petty cash and collections.
• Prepare and submit a daily report of activities and achievements to the supervisor.
• Make recommendations on resource use and disbursements.
• Follow and participate in the Medicals International quality management system (aligned with ISO 9001:2008).
• Carry out any other accounting functions assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
