Medical Coordinator (F/M) – Syria

About the role

Join Médecins du Monde, a 40‑year‑old activist‑driven organization delivering health care to the most vulnerable. In Syria, the role supports the humanitarian response following the rapid power shift in Damascus (December 2024) and the ongoing crisis affecting 16.5 million people. The Medical Coordinator will help ensure that medical services are accessible, coordinated and aligned with MdM’s six core missions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate medical activities and health programmes across the Syrian Arab Republic.
• Collaborate with local partners, health facilities and humanitarian actors to monitor needs and improve service delivery.
• Support data collection, reporting and advocacy efforts related to health outcomes and policy change.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to social justice, human rights and humanitarian principles.
• Experience working in health or medical coordination within complex or conflict‑affected settings.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
