Operation Officer

About the role

Elaf Cargo Co., a leading cargo and maritime agency operating in Jordan, Syria and Iraq, is seeking an Operations Officer to manage and coordinate its logistics activities. The role involves overseeing sea freight operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver efficient cargo services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations, including LCL and FCL sea freight.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and communicate with overseas agents.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth logistics processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
