Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse activities to ensure the safe and efficient storage and retrieval of products and materials, supporting operational needs and customer demand. The role keeps storage facilities well maintained, controls inventory records and stock levels, coordinates stock counts, supervises requisition processing and helps improve warehouse systems. It also resolves customer concerns, promotes compliance with approved procedures and ensures staff follow health, safety and integrated management system requirements in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities and coordinate personnel to keep operations smooth and compliant with approved policies and procedures.
• Maintain optimal use of storage space and look after storage areas and facilities to keep them safe and reliable.
• Organize and run regular stock takes, investigate variances and help correct inventory records promptly.
• Keep the inventory-management system database accurate, standardized and complete, and review inventory data to spot errors.
• Apply inventory-control practices to safeguard materials and support reliable stock availability.
• Follow up on customer concerns about warehouse activities, stock or service delivery and coordinate timely resolution.
• Identify root causes of errors, put countermeasures in place and work with warehouse management to improve operating methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in warehousing, inventory or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or storekeeping.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of GCC experience is considered an advantage.
